Azul Macaubas Quartzite
Bathtub

A singular architectural object in natural Azul Macaubas quartzite

Designed by Sebastian Fenwick, the Azul Macaubas Quartzite Bathtub is conceived as a singular architectural object, carved from an individually selected block of natural stone.

Azul Macaubas is distinguished by its layered blue tones, crystalline depth and linear mineral movement. Each block carries a unique geological composition, giving every finished piece its own visual character.

Fenwick's design is intentionally restrained. The form is reduced to essential curves and proportions, allowing the material itself to remain the defining element. Veining, tonal variation and crystalline structure are preserved as part of the composition rather than treated as surface decoration.

Each bath is produced to order by Crystal Baths and considered individually, from stone selection through to final dimensions and finish. The result is not a repeated product, but a commissioned piece shaped by the qualities of the material from which it is made.

Created for exceptional residential, hospitality and architectural interiors, the Azul Macaubas bath sits between functional object and collectible design.
